Inside Kongbubang class

Some photos during the lesson for Level 0. Superb views of the surrounding area, Namsan Tower.

Sun is shining directly from the front, and just took a quick shot only.

The outside view is great. The Namsan Tower is visible.
These were from the first day's lesson. All photos using Xperia L, which I am finding a hard time adjusting the camera, compared to Xperia Ray.

Over the far right is the Namsan Tower, Namsan Park; besides Seoul Station being the centre of Seoul, the Namsan Tower is considered the nexus as well.

Xperia L works great with good natural light.

More great shots; residential area adds to the texture and colours.

Today was Lesson 2 Level 0 at Kongbubang

Today was Lesson 2.
It was mainly revision since the actual teacher wasn't here. But we got up to the "final consonant" section, and also a good revision of the "w" sounds.

It was perfect. Cause one word that is 100% teochew appeared. What is "sin"? 죄 (ju-aey) I previously had written some discovery of similar words from Korean and Teochew and compiled them haphazardly based on discovering it, there and then, and whenever I had good internet to update. So I guess I will port them over or tidy it up. It's currently still there are: "KoreanTeochewLanguage.blogspot.com"

Kongbubang's FB Group page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/kongbubang/

Lessons are 1000 Won for cost of material/rental/volunteer, Saturdays 4pm.

After the lesson, I walked to Yongsan Electronics Market but it was quite a disarray and many shops closed.

Kongbubang Learn Korean in Seoul for FREE

Today is Day 2, and I have pre-planned to learn Korean in a proper language learning setting. AKA. A class. Weeks ago I was researching and found this site:
http://kongbubang.wordpress.com/

At Kongbubang , there are volunteer teachers who would teach Korean for almost FREE. There is a 1000 Won fee for covering the printed materials plus perhaps the rental, electricity, heating.

The location is rather convenient nearby a subway station. This is another of my top ten best creations of Korea! Their subway system. It is so efficient, effective you'd be amazed and shell-shocked if you came from even Japan. The fee is usually about 1000 Won (plus tax about 1100 Won). You can go almost ANYWHERE with this minimal fee. Then you are allowed to transfer up to 4-5 more buses. There are over 400 subway stations. Perhaps even more. I have to check and re-write this. Just a look at their subway map is like looking at the Chemistry 101 - Periodic Table, colourful informative, and amazement when you are able to put the Hydrogen and Oxygen and smiling happily because they fit perfectly due to the electron count.

Well I will write a detailed subway series.

So back to Kongbubang, I will attend the first lesson this Saturday. 5th Oct.
